How many days do i need to rank up from 1 to 40?

It varies person to person. It took me around 20-25 hours to get to Rank 40 - there's some more input from other users here:

How long did it take you to get rank 40 WITHOUT boosting

Which types of MP mode would you suggest is the fastest way to 40?

(By the way, I cannot seem to find the Search function on this forum ... where is it?)
