I thought it was, the storyline I thought was easier to follow, the graphics were a notch beter, the gameplay had greatly improved, and I loved the good/evil effect (I was an evil daddy (HAHA!), and that influenced the main sister (4got name) to kill all the little sisters in the end. It was totally awesomely shocking!)

Bioshock was a far superior game IMO. the twists in the story were better. gameplay was much better i thought. things like the research camera and hacking were much better in the first one and they feel dumbed down in B2.

How could you not follow the storyline in 1 ?
It was easy to follow.

Fucking this. I hated hacking in Bioshock 2 mainly because it was just simple. Bioshock actually had an interesting mini game behind hacking, where as the sequel was just "lol press X fast". I didn't even feel Bioshock 2 actually had a story. I couldn't really even tell you what happened at all because it left no lasting impression whatsoever, especially compared to the first. Plus, I never really got why people hyped the playing as a big daddy aspect, it really wasn't all that different..

Hard to decide for me, I enjoyed both thoroughly. I liked how BS2 had refined the graphics and display providing a much more cleaner, crisp look to the game. I did prefer the storyline in 1, which was a lot more scarier too. BS2 felt easier, although I may have gotten better at the game. Either way both are worth playing and adding to the games collection!
Im glad this game came across to the PS3 (first played in on PC)

I love both games, but I liked 1 much better than 2. I have yet to try out any DLC for 2, but I hear it is great.

Bioshock was better hands down. It simply provided more of a challenge, much more in fact. Bioshock 2 is entertaining and I really like the DLC maps, but it just isn't as tough a challenge as Bioshock.
