What I think the problem is the game doesn't throw that much at you at first and you don't get the hiker long enough to really experience a better weapon. So there you have the good ole pea shooter to deal with. Which was probably intentional since it encouraged you to pluck off the headshot bonanza challenge early on. As you progress about half way waves of grunts become an interesting challenge because you have a variety of ways to approach the situation. Do you throw a grenade, swing on in and give them a dose of adrenaline, or throw a forklift at them?

Me too, Granny!
The controls are gonna take some getting used to but for $20 bucks?!! pssh.. you can't go wrong. Oddly enough they had the used version for $49 ![]() .Which brings up another point. Gamestop sells you games that don't have the wrapping on them and calls them new. The employees get to "borrow them" and then return them ( which is a great perk for working there, plus they have to know about the game for work purposes) but if i'm gonna fork over $ for a new game I want a factory sealed one. Still though, a good buy!

Grrr...I bought my copy for $50-$60. I would have no problem selling it for $20. I tried to get into it but couldn't. I know you guys say it starts out slow and I probably haven't made it to the fun parts like you guys but I was playing this game for about half an hour at a time through a couple weeks. And I spent alot of that time dying. Just wasn't the kind of game I was looking for. Just a random splurge I did. Figured I'd give it another shot someday but the more I think about it right now, I think I'll just move on.

if you bought it i'd say atleast get to 60% in the game, if your trying commando mode first then its definitely going to be frustrating, thats what i did, the parts that pissed me off the most were the areas full of snipers, who the hell decided that snipers should have infinite bullets that can fire every 1.5 seconds without ever having to reload? just fuckin retarded...
i got my copy from goozex.com so i figured i wasted the points i might as well give it a chance and it turned out to get better, although it felt like a huge weight being liften off my shoulders when i finished it haha |

Like the snipers its really just knowing where to go without error because those snipers are painfully accurate in commando and you'll want to take each one of them out. Like many others on this board said, Commando mode will not be for everyone until they played it through once. Even though many of us did everything in one run. |
