I have just played up to the train station trying to get my nanomachines and shipping trophies in one go. Got to a checkpoint save and quit the game.. now i restarted my game and continued the game and found my game now starts right at the beginning of the game, where the fuck has all my progress gone, that means i have to go through it up to the station point just to get the nanomachines in one playthrough trophy and tbh i cant be fucking bothered, great game, but trophies are not worth the hassle sometimes

you still need to finish the game 2 times so you can get all the nanos in your second playthrought or try again

This happened to me a few days back during my first play through. I was playing normal difficulty and was up to the section where you fight the prototype mouth beam shooting thing in the Asada building when I quit for the night. Next day, started up and I was at the beginning of the whole game again. Nothing in chapter select but there was still all the weapon, enemy and secure-com data.

Started a new run on Survivor and went through all over again.

This morning when I started up, there was a 1.02 update so not sure what that addresses.

You guys sure you didn't exit while it was saving? Could be that the save file got corrupted.
