Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Road Map and Trophy Guide
 Overview Estimate difficulty: 5 Offline: 30 Online: 20 Approximate time: 30-50 hours Minimum number of playthroughs needed: 1 Missable trophies: 0 Glitched trophies: 0* Cheats disable trophies: None Difficulty affect trophies: None Trophy Breakdown: 41  7 2 1*Glitched stats: Sometimes when you do something to unlock a Trophy, like reaching Lv. 10 or unlocking weapons, the Trophy will not unlock. Don't worry, it will unlock later: when you reach Lv. 12, it will unlock the Lv. 10 trophy. So just keep playing if this happens and everything will be fine. Introduction: Gameplay in Battlefield: Bad Company 2 resembles that of the original and is set in various environments from around the world, including the mountainous regions along the borders of Russia. Like its predecessor, Bad Company 2 features destructible environments. The system is dubbed "Destruction 2.0," and the level of destruction is extended — players can now completely collapse a building as opposed to only blowing out walls. Along with Battlefield Vietnam, Bad Company 2 is one of only two games in the Battlefield series to have blood without third-party modification. There are new vehicles in Bad Company 2, such as the UH-60 Black Hawk, a quad bike, a two-man patrol boat, a personal watercraft, an AA-gun mounted on a light tank, and a UAV helicopter controlled via computer. Multiplayer The "Gold Rush" mode in the original Bad Company is referred to simply as "Rush" in Bad Company 2. The format is similar in that an attacking team must detonate explosives on a defending team's crates or destroy them with conventional weapons. The attacking team succeeds by eliminating all the crates on the map, and the defending team succeeds if the attackers are not able to eliminate the crates in the active area before their tickets are depleted. Making use of the Destruction 2.0 system, it is also possible to eliminate some of the crates by collapsing the building they are in on top of them. A smaller scale mode called "Squad Rush" has only two opposing teams of four players battle against each other with one existing crate stash. In Conquest mode, players must capture and hold more flags then their opponents to decrease the enemy supply of respawn tickets to 0. Every kill makes the enemy lose one ticket, and enemy tickets constantly decrease when a team controls more then half of the flags on the map. Road To Platinum In Battlefield: Bad Company 2 there are 2 kinds of Trophies, Campaign Trophies and Online Trophies. Campaign Campaign = Offline. Most of the Trophies are related to the story, which is good. There are 2 kinds of collectable trophies in the game that you should get through playing the campaign: Satellites and Weapons. There are Trophies that involve killing 'X amount of' which are very easy and then are environment destruction trophies so make sure to inflict as much damage as you can to practically everything you come across. You should start the campaign on Easy to make it less difficult whilst completing objectives. Also make sure to collect every new weapon that the enemy drops after dying and make sure to destroy 22 Satellites. After finishing the game you can go back and select the last mission 'Airborne' to complete it on HARD. If you are still missing some Trophies you can select any mission you want in My Campaign and do the remaining Trophies. Online The online Trophies are pretty easy. Most of the trophies need you to unlock a few things before you can earn them. See the guide for information. There are Rank Up Trophies and other trophies like killing and winning that you should try to get while playing. Remember always join a Squad by pressing  when the loading of the round finishes and always mark any enemies by pressing  to get more points.The awards Trophies are very easy, all you need to get 50 and there is more then 150. You'll get them without trying. Just remember that every weapon and kind of vehicle have Stars (Bronze , Silver, Gold and Platinum) that count as an award. Getting them will make it easier. Just play and have fun and you will get over 50 awards somewhere between Lv. 10 and Lv. 15. There are only 2 hard Trophies in Online, Et Tu, Brute? and Demolition Man that need luck, See the Trophy guide for more information. NOTE: Online Trophies can not be earned in Private Matches. Campaign: finish Upriver Story-Related Trophy, Can not be missed Just finish the Upriver mission.  Salvage a vehicle. Campaign: finish Crack the Sky. Story-Related Trophy, Can not be missed Just finish the Crack the Sky mission.  Alright, here it is. Campaign: finish Snowblind Story-Related Trophy, Can not be missed Just finish the Snowblind mission.  Nobody ever drowned in sweat Campaign: finish Heavy Metal Story-Related Trophy, Can not be missed Just finish the Heavy Metal mission.  Ghost rider's here! Campaign: finish High Value Target Story-Related Trophy, Can not be missed Just finish the Hight Value Target mission.  Sierra Foxtrot 1079 Campaign: finish Sangre del Toro Story-Related Trophy, Can not be missed Just finish the Sangre del Toro mission.  Thanks for the smokes, brother! Campaign: finish No One Gets Left Behind Story-Related Trophy, Can not be missed Just finish the No One Gets Left Behind mission.  Save me some cheerleaders. Campaign: finish Zero Dark Thirty Story-Related Trophy, Can not be missed Just finish the Zero Dark Thirty mission.  Turn on a light. Campaign: finish Force Multiplier Story-Related Trophy, Can not be missed Just finish the Force Multiplier mission.  P.S. Invasion cancelled, sir. Campaign: finish Airborne Story-Related Trophy, Can not be missed Just finish the Airborne mission.  It sucks to be right. Campaign: finish Airborne on Hard To get this trophy, you only have to finish the last mission in the game (Airborne) on Hard difficulty. If you have finished the game on a difficulty lower than Hard, you can use My Campaign to access this mission on Hard Difficulty. This mission is very easy, the easiest mission in the game. So it shouldn't be hard to get.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Trophy Guide Part 2
 New Shiny Gun Campaign: Find 5 collectable weapons Collectable Weapons (CW) are any new kind of weapon you pick up from dead soldiers or weapons that can be found somewhere in the area. Just pick up 5 new kinds of weapons to earn the trophy. Make sure you check every dead enemy. See 'Guns Guns Guns' Trophy for more information.  Guns Guns Guns Campaign: Find 15 collectable weapons Collectable Weapons (CW) are any new kind of weapon you pick up from dead soldiers or weapons that can be found somewhere in the area. There are a total of 30 CW in the game, so you only need to find half (15). Make sure you check every dead enemy as they might have a new kind of weapon. They can be found in random locations in the area. These places are marked in your map with a gun icon so make sure you go to each icon to check if its a new weapon or not.  Link to the Past Campaign: Destroy 1 satellite uplink Satellite Uplinks (SU) are metel boxes you have to destroy. They look the same as the M-coms in Rush Mode. When you find one press and hold  to arm the SU with a bomb and then destroy it.Destroy 1 SU to get this Trophy. See 'Complete Blackout' to watch a video that shows the location of each SU.  Communication Issues Campaign: Destroy 15 satellite uplinks Satellite Uplinks (SU) are metel boxes you have to destroy. They look the same as the M-coms in Rush Mode. Complete Blackout Campaign: Destroy 22 satellite uplinks Satellite Uplinks (SU) are metel boxes you have to destroy. They look the same as the M-coms in Rush Mode. When you find one press and hold to arm the SU with a bomb and then destroy it.There are a total of 24 SU in the game. Destroy 22 to get the Trophy. Use the following videos to find all SU locations:  Ten Blades Campaign: 10 melee kills To melee kill someone you have to use the Knife by pressing  . When you are close to an enemy, press to stab him. Do this 10 times to earn the Trophy. Taxi! Campaign: Drive 5 km in any land vehicle Driving 5 KM isn't a lot. There are many vehicles to drive in the game, you will get the Trophy without really trying, so don't worry about it. The best mission to get this trophy is the Sangre Del Toro mission.  Destruction Campaign: Destroy 100 objects Anything that can be destroyed counts toward this trophy. And almost everything in the game can be destroyed. Destroying 100 objects won't take long at all. You should get this very early on in the game.  Destruction part 2 Campaign: Destroy 1000 objects Anything that can be destroyed counts toward this trophy. And almost everything in the game can be destroyed. You will get this trophy without trying near the end of the game. Just make sure to use explosive weapons as often as possible.  Demolish Campaign: Demolish 1 house Demolish a house = Destroy a house completely. Just keep blowing up the walls of the house until it collapses and you'll earn this trophy.  Demolish Part 2 Campaign: Demolish 50 houses Demolish a house = Destroy a house completely. Just keep blowing up the walls of the house until it collapses and that's one done, do 49 more. 50 is a lot, but stick at it and it won't take too long. NOTE: If you reload a checkpoint it still counts for the ones you have just destroyed. See this Video to learn a fast and easy way to get this Trophy. Mission: Heavy Metal:  Assault Rifle Aggression Campaign: 50 kills with assault rifles Just get 50 kills across the range of assault rifles. Assault Rifles list:

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Trophy Guide Part 3
 Multiplayer Knowledge Online: reach Rank 10 (Sergeant I) There are a total of 50 ranks in the online mode. You must reach Rank 10 to get this Trophy. Points needed to reach Rank 10: 120, 000 You get points by killing enemies, helping teammates and achieving goals. Note that everything you do with your Squad Members gives you more points then doing stuff alone or with a non-Squad member. Also, you can give an ORDER to defend or attack by pressing on the objective. Example: While defending in Rush Mode, pressing on M-COM 'A' will order your troops to defend 'A' . Everything you do in that area will then give you extra points, so make sure to use orders as often as possible. And when you press on an enemy you will mark him so that you will get points if someone else kills him. Multiplayer Elite Online: reach Rank 22 (Warrant Officer I) There are a total of 50 Ranks in the onlinemode. You must reach Rank 22 to get this Trophy. Points needed to reach Rank 22: 405, 000 You get points by killing enemies, helping teammates and achieving goals. Note that everything you do with your Squad Members gives you more points then doing stuff alone or with a non-Squad member. Points needed to unlock first weapon ( XM8 Prototype ): 3,000  Points needed to unlock second weapon ( F2000 Assault ): 8,000  Points needed to unlock third weapon ( STG.77 AUG ): 20,000  BIG NOTE: The points you earn while in a vehicle counts towards vehicles unlocking and do not count towards kit unlocks. So you must earn the points outside a vehicle to get unlocks for any of the kits.  Engineer Expert Online: unlock 3 weapons in the Engineer kit You must unlock 3 weapons, not gadgets, for the Engineer kit to get this Trophy. To unlock stuff for a kit you must earn points while using that kit. Points needed to unlock first weapon ( SCAR-L Carbine ): 2,500  Points needed to unlock second weapon ( XM8 Compact ): 6,500  Points needed to unlock third weapon ( AKS-74U Krinkov ): 16,000  BIG NOTE: The points you earn while in a vehicle counts towards vehicles unlocking and do not count towards kit unlocks. So you must earn the points outside a vehicle to get unlocks for any of the kits.  Medic Expert Online: unlock 3 weapons in the Medic kit You must unlock 3 weapons, not gadgets, for the Medic kit to get this Trophy. To unlock stuff for a kit you must earn points while using that kit. Points needed to unlock first weapon ( M249 SAW ): 3,300  Points needed to unlock second weapon ( Type 88 LMG ): 8,600  Points needed to unlock third weapon ( M60 LMG ): 25,000  BIG NOTE: The points you earn while in a vehicle counts towards vehicles unlocking and do not count towards kit unlocks. So you must earn the points outside a vehicle to get unlocks for any of the kits.  Recon Expert Online: unlock 3 weapons in the Recon kit You must unlock 3 weapons, not gadgets, for the Recon kit to get this Trophy. To unlock stuff for a kit you must earn points while using that kit. Points needed to unlock first weapon ( Type 88 ): 2,200  Points needed to unlock second weapon ( SV98 Snaiperskaya ): 6,000  Points needed to unlock third weapon ( SVU Snaiperskaya Short ): 15,000  BIG NOTE: The points you earn while in a vehicle counts towards vehicles unlocking and do not count towards kit unlocks. So you must earn the points outside a vehicle to get unlocks for any of the kits.  Battlefield Expert Online: obtain all unlocks in any kit or all Vehicle unlocks To get this trophy, you have to unlock everything for only one of these:
Points Needed to unlock everything for the Assault ( M16A2 ): 47,000  Points Needed to unlock everything for the Engineer (UMP .45 ): 43,000  Points Needed to unlock everything for the Medic ( MG3 ): 57,000  Points Needed to unlock everything for the Recon ( M95 ): 34,000  Points Needed to unlock everything for the Vehicle ( Alternate Weapon Package ): 10,000   15 Minutes of Fame Online: play for 15 minutes Just play for 15 minutes. I don't know if you have to do this in a single round, but a round always lasts longer than 15 min anyway.  Mission... Accomplished. Online: in a round do one kill with the knife, the M60 and the RPG-7 You have to get a kill with the Knife, The M60 (unlocked at 25,000 points in the Medic kit ) and with the RPG-7 (in the Engineer kit) in a single round. Play as a Medic until you unlock the M60 and then use it to kill an enemy. Right after dying, switch to the Engineer class and press  to select the RPG. Get a kill with it, either by destroying a vehicle with an enemy in it or by shooting an enemy. Then just try to get close to someone to Knife them with . Pistol Man Online: get 5 kills with every handgun in the game To get this Trophy you must first unlock every handgun in the game. Press  to switch to your Handgun. After unlocking all handguns just use and get 5 kills with each one.Handgun list:

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Trophy Guide Part 4
 Airkill Online: roadkill an enemy with any helicopter The best and easiest way to get a roadkill with a helicopter is by using the UAV. Enter a UAV and fly high behind a base. Keep your eye out for enemy soldiers. The easiest enemies to kill are Snipers and the ones that are out in the open. When you find one just smash the UAV into him and he'll die.  Et Tu, Brute? Online: knife 5 friends You have to Knife kill a friend that is on your Friend List 5 times to get this trophy. The only hard thing about this trophy is trying to get a friend on the opposite team so.... just keep trying until it happens. When you are both ready, find a good place to perform 5 kills on him. The best way to do this is in Squad Deathmatch mode. Join a game and then press and hold to check on your squad members. When your squad is full let your friend Join using 'Play With Friend' and he will be put on the enemy team. Now just knife him 5 times.NOTE: You can knife the same friend 5 times to get the trophy, it doesn't have to be 5 diffrent friends. And you don't have to do it in one round.  Demolition Man Online: get 20 demolish kills Demolish kill = Collapse a house on an enemy. This one might take a while and requires a little luck. Destroy a building that has got enemies inside with an explosive weapon like a tank, C4, etc... When you kill someone by collapsing a house on him, it will say that you killed him by 'Destruction 2.0' as the weapon. Team kills won't count. The best mode to do this in is Squad Deathmatch mode. Join a game then press and hold to check on your squad. When your squad is full let your friend join you using 'Play With Friend' and he will be put on the enemy team. Now just get him to stay in a house and destroy it while he's inside.You can check your stats using this website: Watch this video for some useful information  Careful Guidence Online: destroy an enemy helicopter with a stationary RPG Destroying a helicopter with a S-RPG is hard as these weapons can't aim very high. Find an S-RPG (make sure the map you are playing on has helicopters) and wait until a helicopter shows up. Fire and keep the Red square on the helicopter to makes sure you hit it. This might take a few trys. An easier way to get this is when defending in Rush Mode. When the enemy has destroyed both of the M-Coms, they will take your base and their helicopter will show up. Just hide somewhere near a S-RPG, and as soon as someone enters the helicopter, use the S-RPG to destroy it before it flys away.  The Dentist Online: do a headshot kill with the repair tool  First you need to unlock the repair tool with the Engineer class at 1,000 points. Play as an Engineer and go and find yourself a Sniper. Switch to your repair tool by pressing  , then press and hold  to drill their head.An easier way to get this is while playing as a defender in Rush Mode. When the enemy destroys both of the M-Coms, they will take your base. Hide in their new base somewhere near their UAV, and as soon as someone uses the UAV, go and drill their head in.  Won Them All Online: win a round in all online game modes There is a total of 4 modes in the game, You just have to win them all once. Game Modes list:
*NOTE*: Some people say that you don't need to play 'Squad Rush' to get this Trophy. NOTE: If the Trophy does not unlock after playing each mode. Try playing 'Rush or Conquest' and it might unlock. Click on 'Play Now' and chose which game mode you want to play.  Squad Player Online: obtain the Gold Squad Pin 5 times  to start the game in a Squad, or by pressing  while playing. Then click on "My Squad". Here you can make or join a squad.The total points you and your squad members get must be the best at the end of the match. Stay with your Squad members because everything you do with them gives you more points rather than doing it alone or with people who aren't in your squad.  Combat Service Support Online: do 10 resupplies, repairs, heals, revives and motion mine spot assists You must do the following to get this Trophy:

You earn Insignias by doing something many times in different rounds. There are 4 types of Stars: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. You earn Stars by killing a certain amount of enemies using a weapon or vehicle. There are more then 150 awards in the game. Just get 10 to earn this Trophy.  Award Addicted Online: obtain 50 unique awards Awards are shown as Pins, Insignias and Stars. You earn Pins by doing something in a single round. Is hard pretty hard? Like 2 shots, you're dead, going to cover alot, etc.
