Might try that myself, does feel more like bad company 2 then? In that i could fly one chopper all the way through a conquest match without dying (the odd repair obviously)

Yeh, the Southpaw layout makes it very similar to the BFBC 2 controller layout. It's so much easier rolling with the left stick and turning with the right.

Just practice with the Helos and watch the tut vid by Dragon he does a good job explaining how to fly it on PS3.

Great guide.. i'm using it when i get tired of being shot online and i play the campaign. Only one question about the guide, are you sure about the 10.000 xp extra when you kill with a weapon 500 times? cuz i just get my 500th kill with my weapon, and just get a service star and 2000 xp. Just wanna make sure about it

Can you change views with in flying vehicles like you could in coop in multiplayer? I haven't played in aired vehicles so far in the MP so I'm curious.

On normal yes, but on hardcore you can only have cockpit view.

I wish I could have lasted 10 seconds when I first got in the chopper
As soon as I took off, I would bank just a bit too much and flop spectacularly

But with practise, it now feels like second nature and I REALLY enjoy flying the helicopters

Also, only in Normal mode can you change the view - Hardcore you only have cockpit.
Though, hard mode in Coop still allows for 3rd person when playing Fire From The Sky

Awesome, good to know. Having the option to change views is the only reason I haven't crashed headfirst into a mountain, ground, or the ocean within 10 seconds of getting on a heli.

Just wanted to say that i got the Transport Warfare Ribbon while being a door gunner in the UH-1Y Venom. Here I was thinking I was on my way to Air Warfare and I saw the Transport ribbon pop up... D'oh...
