Platinum Difficulty Rating

Online trophies seems fairly easy and time consuming.. maybe optaining all ribbons will be a pain in the ass, if they used the same kind of rewards of BFBC.

Completing the game on hard is okay, in co-op, could give some trouble if the partner isnt good enough, but other than that trophies looks doables.

Gave it a 8 for the co-op hard trophy and the all ribbons online

Consider yourself lucky for the health regenation, I dare you to play medal of honor frontlines on the hardest difficulty.. if you manage that then you can manage any other fps

right, after playing the game and attempting the ribbons, this game will be harder to platinum than I first thought, the jets and helicopters feel weird to control, using the Southpaw control setup for helicopters, find that easier to control, the Suppression assist ribbon will be quite tough to get.

Also, the MVP trophies could be annoying to get, especially for the lower skilled players. I managed to get the trophy for MVP a minute ago (by 4 points to 2nd lol).

I starting to edge towards rating a 7.

What health regeneration? I died about 40 times on the second mission and every single time it was one shot, I never once had my health regenerate whatsoever.

And stop with that bullshit "in real life, you can't take a bullet" argument. It's a fuckin video game you moron. If I wanted to test that theory, I'd join the army. I've played many difficult shooters and beaten them on the highest difficulty.

This is going to to be a little bit of a grind especially for rank 45. Maybe not if you are a decent player. Campaign is a joke (so far). I will vote when I have the plat. Multiplayer rocks.

Spot on! Just because it should be as realistic as possible, it doesn't mean it has to be 100% correct!

There is health regeneration, take cover and give it a second. How about you try not complaining that a game is hard because you chose the hardest difficulty. Have some perseverance if you want that gold trophy. Don't expect it to be handed to you. As he said Black Ops was much, much harder on the highest difficulty. There are only a couple of frustrating moments in BF3.

Right now for the Platinum I'd say it's about a 7/10 because of "You can be my wingman anytime" in SP and from what I've tried so far, Co-Op on hard is going to take a lot of practice. Especially considering the second mission requires you to know how to fly a chopper and fly it well. None of the MP trophies are hard, they just take time.

I beg to differ there. The obtain every ribbon trophy is the hardest trophy on BF3. It requires you to be decent at all attributes of the multiplayer in which isn't easy for some. Good luck killing 6 people with a Jet or a helicopter when as soon as you take it into the battle zone it's being shot down. This game is atleast an 8/10 if not 10/10 depending on your skill level at FPS.

That's true, I hadn't really looked into the ribbons yet. I assumed it'd be like BFBC2 and I think I got most if not all of the ribbons there. If it requires kills with Jets and Helicopters then it'll probably be a bit harder for me. Still, practice makes perfect I guess. I'd say it's at least an 8 if that's the case (I still haven't voted yet, just an estimate).

It doesn't specify so i'm thinking it can be with either a jet or a helicopter. There's 45 ribbons most are simple enough but a few can be a long painful grind. Especially if you can't handle the new controls for flying or get passed all of the RPGs on the other team for the vehicle ribbons. The co-op has a mission that you can practice flying on though so that can possibly make it a little bit easier on people. My honest estimate as of right now would probably be a 9/10 and I havent even attempted campaign mode but I read it's easier than black ops and I dominated that game lol.
