Battlefield 3 Beta Impressions

Seeing as the beta goes live today for MOH LE owners I may as well start this. I have to wait till 29th for my go Anyone played it yet? What do you like and dislike?

I for one am very disapointed with this.

Draw distance is bad, cant make out anyone past a few meters(it could be me). The hit detection is horrible(it could be lag) i normally get killed with one hit(not to the head) while it takes a few round for the enemy. One time i got killed cos a bullet travelled through a concrete wall. The sprinting is horrible, sometimes you run like hell other times you cant run. Theres no indicator for when you are tired.
The weapon are the same rubbish shit was other battlefields games.
Theres no "cook" in the grenade, you press the button and off it goes..
The graphics are "meh".
Frostengine2 doesnt add anything from the first.
Playing this or playing bad company2 is the exact same shit.
The lag sometimes makes you feel like you have weight on your feet.
This is beta but still, i believe that this could be better.
They tried to do a melee kill animation(like killzone3) and failed badly.

It pains me to say this but i think that modern warfare3 just took the "first buy" place, and i had so much expections for this game.

Sounds to me like you didnt like BC2 either, so is it possible that your early review is very bias?

I second this. The guy has 12th level on BC2 I'd like to hear an opinion from Battlefield player...

@Thalius - If you don't like the game then that's fine but don't blame the game if it's not your style.

I haven't play the beta yet. But how this anywhere near the first BFBC game or are talking about the engine from BFBC2?

It isnt bias(i think) cos i played alot of bad company2 and 1. The only thing i never played was the battlefield games.

I was talking about frostengine2 vs frostengine1.

Maybe i was expecting to much from this game, and after playing bad company2 mp and medal of honor mp(which i really liked) they dont really changed all that much to make it better, IMO.
I just saying im not impressed. The trailers do look amazing even the gameplay footage looks amazing but MP doesnt, if singleplayer is anything like MP this is gonna be a little of a "letdown".

Anyway this just my opinion, im not saying that the game sucks, far from it, im just saying that i was expecting more.

okay here goes..

im not gonna base my opinon on the game because
1. its only the online
2. its the beta

but my beta impressions...

the sprinting is stuffed.
the grenades fly like hell
the map/s are HUGE
the campers are already back
the graphics are complete shit compared to PC
the waiting after you kill takes forever.


but overall the online is great - im addicted.
but wont play till release date until the game is fully complete.

loyal battlefield fans will play this beta to release date .

i would play more , but i gotta plat BC2 in time.

Just got my BF3 Beta personal invite for buying the MOH:LE to join the Open Beta 2 days before everyone else, but there's no key for it, or does it not require a key? :s
