Overview: -Estimated Trophy Difficulty: 2/10 -Offline: 12(7 4 1 )-Online: 0 -Approximate amount of time to 100%: 3-4 hours -Minimum number of playthroughs needed: 3 -Missable trophies: Color Me Impressed, Rocketman. -Glitched trophies: None -Does difficulty affect trophies?: Yes, specifically Private, Staff Sergeant, Sergeant Major, and Color Me Impressed. -Do cheat codes disable trophies?: No Introduction: Battle: Los Angeles is a First Person Shooter with a short campaign (about an hour per playthrough). The control scheme is similar to most other FPS games currently on the market and is therefore relatively easy to learn. The trophies themselves are a combination of story related trophies, complete the game on X difficulty, and get X kills with this weapon. The important thing to note with is that the three difficulty trophies are NOT stackable, and the campaign must be completed three times in order to 100% the game. Recommended Path: Playthrough 1: Hard Difficulty I recommend starting your first playthrough on the hardest difficulty simply to knock out Sergeant Major. The difficulty of this game is very easy to adjust to, particularly if you already play FPS games. Additionally, during this playthrough you should aim to achieve Long Range, Hummer, and Rocketman. Playthrough 2: Normal Difficulty Now that you've played through the game once on Hard and are familiar with the maps and enemies, Normal difficulty should present few if any challenges. Additionally, since you are now familiar with the position of cover and the enemies, you should pick up Color Me Impressed if you missed getting it in your first playthrough. Playthrough 3: Easy Difficulty Simply use this playthrough to mop up any weapons trophies you may have missed and to just go nuts on some invading alien jerks. Post Campaign At any point after beating the campaign once, be sure to check out one of your unlocked videos from the main menu in order to get Seen Your Video. For more assistance on beating the campaign, you can check out KryptoniteDragon's Campaign Walkthrough. Last edited by Attack-Trik; 05-03-2013 at 03:53 AM. |

PrivateComplete the game on Easy Difficulty. Complete the entire campaign on Easy Difficulty (as mentioned above, the difficulty trophies do not stack so this MUST be done on Easy Difficulty). KaboomDestroy the gas station. Story related and cannot be missed.
Pool and DiveSurvive the pool attack. Story related and cannot be missed.
Droppin BombsCall in the airstrike to defeat the Command Center. Story related and cannot be missed.
Seen Your VideoWatch an unlocked video. To unlock a video, you must complete the campaign (any difficulty will work as there are locked videos associated with all three). Once you've beaten the campaign, simply select unlockables from the main menu and choose any video to view. Staff SergeantComplete the game on Normal Difficulty. Complete the entire campaign on Normal Difficulty (as mentioned above, the difficulty trophies do not stack so this MUST be done on Normal Difficulty). Long RangeKill 20 enemies with a sniper rifle. In Hard Difficulty (if not all the time) the sniper rifle will typically be your weapon of choice. It is almost always a better idea to hang back from your squad and pick away the aliens at a distance with your sniper rifle than to go charging at them with your assault rifle. While in Hard Difficulty, the aliens can survive quite a bit of assault rifle fire but are still vulnerable to a well aimed sniper shot, making this weapon a must use during that playthrough. You'll encounter 20 enemies very quickly in the game and will be able to knock this trophy out fairly early on in the first mission. Color Me ImpressedComplete a mission on Normal without dying, failing, restarting, or continuing campaign. As the trophy says, you must complete a full mission on Normal difficulty without once failing or jumping into a checkpoint. If you play on Hard difficulty first, this is easy to obtain in a second Normal playthrough using your prior knowledge of the maps and enemy locations. If you need to start a new file to achieve this, the first mission ends once your squad has made it to the police station. HummerKill 15 enemies on the HMV turret. There are two times in the game where you have access to an HMV turret (one of the turrets mounted on the armor Humvee looking vehicles). In each part there will be more than 15 enemies around and the turret cannot overheat or run out of ammo, so simply hold down the trigger and let loose on some aliens. RocketmanKill 2 aliens with one Rocket. This trophy is likely the hardest to achieve because there are so few instances in the campaign where you actually have the rocket launcher and there are 2 aliens that close to one another. I found the best opportunity for this trophy is directly after you first shoot down an alien spacecraft using your rocket launcher. Right after this boss fight, you will climb down a ladder and head down an alley to a small parking lot where aliens will be shooting at you from the roof. After killing these aliens, you head down another alley directly to your left, where two aliens pop out to block your path. They will be standing right next to each other and this is the perfect opportunity to blow them both up. Thanks to Xerios for finding this video: Sergeant MajorComplete the game on Hard Difficulty. Complete the entire campaign on Hard Difficulty. Some general tips:
One HundoUnlock all the unlockables. There are unlockables for beating the game on each difficulty, so this trophy will unlock once you have successfully completed the game on all three difficulty levels.

That's weird, it didn't freeze on my once. Is there any kind of pattern to where it messes up for you? Also, have you had any problems with trophies glitching on you? I hadn't heard any complaints about this yet, I just wanted to pay attention in case people start running into issues.
