The ending was so.. Wtf. I mean a lot of villains died despite Batman's efforts. That was just fucking insane.
And the part where Batman carried Joker's corpse out of the building made me wonder why he carried him instead of Tallia. |

Gotta say, I was kind of disappointed by the ending. First, killing off Talia ruins any possibility of Catwoman and Talia engaging in a fight to the death over Batman. Second, fighting Clayface (part 1) was a little bit too much like fighting Solomon Grundy for my liking. I still liked the fight, but I couldn't help but think that I had already done it before. The ending, though, was kind of bad. It's not something I can describe, but something about it just didn't sit well with me.

It's obvious why they killed Joker. Hamill's legacy and all that nonsense.
I think the story really underutilized Strange. I questioned the choice for him being the villain and I was right at the end. They didn't do much with him. I think of all the Villains the Penguin probably was the best, probably because it felt like he was involved the most. Two Face was short-lived. Freeze was not really an adversary, and Joker was...well, Joker. Of the 4 main villains, only Joker really felt like a threat and that was because he basically gave Batman aids. I don't think Ra's (mispronouncing his name is a big no no) was all that great, either. I mean, if Batman is the world's greatest detective, shouldn't he have known that he was in on Strange's deal? Maybe the corrupted blood was getting to him, but it really was out of character if there wasn't an explanation for it in the written story. It just feels like if they cut out Penguin it would've been better since they could've just made it Freeze, Two Face and Joker. |

I just completed the game and to be honest, the ending was a right shocker. I didn't think they'd kill off the joker... twice lol.
Talia too. Wow, they really wanted to mess this one about. I feel that Catwoman didn't really play a role at all. I think I'm missing like 2 or 3 character bios though, I'm unsure. Also, anyone think there's a possibility of a trilogy? |

Disappointing ending. Short and empty, apparently Batman has more respect for Joker than Talia to carry him out.
Too many things having no conclusion. Hush escaping, Azrael's meaning of his message, Calendar Man escaping his cell after you meet him on all 12 holidays, Mad Hatter being left free in his tea room. So what happened to all the people infected by Joker's blood in Gotham City? The last cure sample was destroyed after Batman drink it. Clayface, a B-list Batman villain is the final boss? At least gameplay-wise, he was better than Titan Joker... Bane apparently can't break a elevator door... Two-Face hide during the whole game leaving his thugs leaderless and as soon as he hear Joker is dead, he come out, great way to make him look weak... I'm hoping for it. The whole game seemed to be leading to Batmans spiral into losing his identity. The fact he wasn't so clear cut with his moral choices anymore, especially when it came to the Joker, was very uncharacteristic. Maybe the next game won't be prison based. The inmates escape from the crumbling infrastrucutre that is Arkham City back into Gotham. Batman has to deal with the fact his morality is brought into question, he's hounded for seemingly killing all those supervillains at the end and on top of that the threat of the escaped A-list villains escalates as they start forming alliances.

Did anybody else choose to exit the vault after the catwoman bit?
When the credits started I was like "umm,... oh,... dear, I think I just killed Batman!" then the rewind actually made me laugh out loud. I thought the 'Only You' song on the credits was really poignant & to be honest I quite liked it. but then, I also quite liked the ending of LOST lol. Now I'm really struggling with the fiddly Catwoman vs TwoFace bit. also tried the first combat challenge and I think AC is gonna take much longer to Plat than AA |
