While I love Mark Hamill and always want him to be The Joker for the future games/movies, the next entry (if there is one) needs not to have The Joker in it. The past two games have featured so much Joker that he needs to be on the sidelines for the next one. To me, Hush or Red Hood probably should be the main villian with the other serving as the secondary.

I didn't read the entire thread, but this video does an amazing job documenting all the easter eggs from the game. Some are pretty obvious ones and others are pretty obscured. Small things like these blow my mind at how much detail Rocksteady had put into the game.

Just a question for those who've ALREADY FINISHED THE STORY:

What happens if you choose, as Catwoman to go to the right with the briefcases and escape, leaving Batman behind?

The credits start rolling, and you get a voice message from Oracle, talking about how Joker has won and everyone, including Gordon and Batman, is dead, before everything rewinds back to when you make the choice, letting you make the "right" one.

Definitely worth checking out, I'm sure there's a video up on youtube if you don't feel like replaying it.

I thought the ending was kind of lame and that Batman was a total retard. Great game, but the ending was a let down.

i completely disagree. i thought the ending was excellent. The clayface angle was totally out of left field and having the joker die was epic. i just wonder if they ended it like that because it made a better ending to the story or because Mark Hamill does not want to do a third game.

i do think that as a final boss Clayface was pathetically easy and they should have ended it on the shot of batman standing over dead joker with the camera panning back. the whole walking out of arkham city didn't work.

and may i say the joker song during the credits was fucking awesome

I completely agree, we've seen enough Joker in these games, time for some different villains to get more face time. I like the idea of newer Batman villains making more of an appearance like Hush and Red Hood. I would throw Black Mask into the mix as well.

On arkham City? No, the resitricted area is controlled by Strange and his Tyger henchmens and also leads out of Arkham City into Gotham. It's pretty explanatory why it's titled as "restricted", therefore.

I just finished the game earlier and overall, I was pleased with the game but the one thing that did bother me was that the game didn't really push the Batman lore forward. It's hard to explain but if we take the ending, for example, Batman seemed to have come to the realisation that by not killing these criminals that he captured (and they escaped), he was at part to blame for the autrocities they caused after escaping their first capture. This is one thing amongst other example of Batman that Rocksteady could have build upon.

Furthermore, the game presumes that all players have lots of background knowledge on the Batman Universe. I'm your average Batman fan but some characters and storylines the game presumed (such as Solomon Grundy) I knew, I had no idea of and had to research away from the game Which shouldn't be the case.

I know it sounds like I hated the game but i really liked it. These were just some gripes I had with it. Can't wait to see future developments of Batman games
