Where are the notes in the library?

When you enter the room, there is a bomb to defuse, go to the ventilation system. You will end up in the top floor with the big lamp. You use a batarang to cut the rope that holds the big lamp. It will break the glass floor. You save the hostages and in this floor there are the notes =)

What happened was, I hadn't got the fingerprint DNA and even though I KNEW (from a guide) where the book was, it would not let me pick it up until I had it. Which in my opinion is stupid since I know where it was. I wasted an entire hour doing that
