This was my stategy to get 3 medals on all of them:

- my first priority was to hit the freeflow perfection combo, so make sure you have all the necessary upgrades and practice, practice, practice to get 5,000 bonus points

- my second priority was to get the flawless combo round bonus

- in rounds 1 & 2 try to get the dark night bonus because it's almost impossible to get it in rounds 3 or 4

- in smaller maps (18,000 points) you should aim to get around 4k-5k in round 1, 10k-11k in round 2 and the rest in round 3 and 4; also in these maps it is a good idea to go for the perfect knight bonus (5,000 points), which gets awarded if you don't get hit in any rounds, because there are not a lot of enemies

- in medium maps (30,000 points) you should aim for 8k-9k in round 1, 12k-15k and the rest in round 3 and 4

- in large maps (50,000 points) you should aim for 10k-12k in round 1, 20k-25k in round 2 and 8k-10k in round 3 and 4

- it is VERY important to get most points in rounds 1 & 2, so if you don't get enough points either start over or go into beast mode in later rounds

- while performing a special takedown or a counter look around and target your next enemy

- use the triple batclaw, batarangs and takedown X+square for crowd control

- make sure that if you get your combo over 20 or higher to clear the room with batarangs and batclaw to perform the ground finisher R2 + triangle to get a lot of points; in general if you are clearing the round in one perfect combo save the take down for the very last enemy to get the most points

- when there is one enemy left don't kill him using hits, instead batclaw him and then double X jump over him which will send him to the ground where you can perform the ground finisher R2 + triangle for more points

- always be aware of people who throw stuff at you because they will most certainly not miss and will break your combo

Welcome to the club...I considered it, and the thought of "well I do have 3 others I can use that are charged" crossed my mind more often than not.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one having major issues with these damn Combat Challenges, I still haven't managed to get three bats on the first one yet. I practice and practice but don't seem to get any better, hopefully if I keep at it it will click into place at some point.

You're definitely not the only one, I am finding these extremely hard! It took me about an hour and a half just to get the first one 3-starred. I shudder to think of the later ones, but I really don't want this game left half-complete

Can't do these neither. I just find myself double tapping x, to jump over the enemy, then pressing square to strike. Rince and repeat untill I can do the takedown move. Also the guys with the knifes and electric sticks most of the time break my combo. I'm not fully confident at attacking them guys yet, pressing o to stun still seems a bit crap to me so I try and use my takedown moves on them asap. (I haven't even started with extreme mode yet)

Should I use that takedown move as soon as I get it? or keep jumping and striking people to boost up my multiplyer? Using the batclaw or baterangs end up breaking my combo to..

I think I'm gonna leave these combo challenges trophies till last. They would prob be easier if the camera was further away and not so close.

I keep making stupid mistakes and losing my combos because of it.

Also, I don't think it was mentioned but if you finish with certain moves you get better scores. i.e. finishing with a ring-out gives you combo x 25 instead of combo x 10 and I think the same can be said for a batclaw punch. I've noticed that every move you do afterwards lowers it by 5 until you're back to the standard combo x 10.

Anyone got a list of 'additional scores'? What I know is

Standard: Combo x 10
Batclaw Attack (batclaw to punch): Combo x 25
Ring-Out: Combo x 25
Variation x3: 100
Variation x4: 250
Dark Knight: 500
Flawless Freeflow: 1000

I can't remember the other variation bonuses though I think the next is 500 then 1000?

Variation x7: 2000
Variation x8: 3500
Variation x9: 5000
When you get on the back of the titan henchman and hit the other henchmen, it's x25.

What are you referring to when you say ring-out?

It's gotten to the point where I will PAY someone to do Shock and Awe Extreme for me. I don't have the patience or the time to do this shit.
