Gave an 8 as well exactly for this reason alone,the extreme combat challenges are really tough and somewhat frustrating.

I gave it an 8. The story part was easy, but the challenges were very, very hard for me. After I found my strategy, though, they got a lot easier. All I did was strike them and trying to get critical strikes, and then ground pound them when I could. It got me a lot of points and made it a lot easier than trying for variety. I also got a lot of 40X combos with that, after struggling mightily beforehand.

Surprisingly Shock and Awe was my easiest extreme challenge. Sewer Rat extreme was the hardest for me.

7, specially due to combat challenges. Collectibles are easy and funny to be found. Awesome game.

7 the hard difficulty is not too challenging. The challenges were the only difficult part of the game, but if you just focus on getting focused freeflow and not taking damage they become a lot easier.

The catch running up the score in the combat challenges is to apply the strategy for the trophy involving all of Batman's moves to every round of every fight. In most of them the bonus points awarded for doing that x4 rounds is enough to pass the challenge. Do ground pound takedowns whenever possible.

This is one of my proudest Platinum so far, i loved every second of this game, well except for the Combat challenge map but still an Amazing game thought!

brilliant game enjoyed every bit of it... well except for shock and awe (extreme) which nearly reduced me to tears of frustration several times but when i finally beat the score (actually beating the score was never a problem i just always ran out of time in the last round) and got the platinum the sense of achievement after was worth it! The campaign on hard difficulty isn't too bad for the most part... the only part that gave me any trouble was the fight against poison ivy. looking forward to getting my hands on Arkham City now!

Even though i beat this 2 years ago and forgot some stuff, I give it a 7 it was pretty challenging but nothing that couldnt be passed, i really enjoyed it. the hard part was the challenges but once you get use to it you can knock them out.

As this is my second time platting this game i gonna vote on what i would of originally voted for and thats 7/10

The story is easy and to me no challenge at all only difficult part is a few of the challenges but once you get used to them they become so easy and you destroy the score requirement in the end.

I shall vote now 7/10 but if i was to vote it as its my second time playing it then it be 4/10 but im voting what i thought at first
