How to Handle Those Gunned Combat Challenges

I've tried building up my combos to handle those gunned guys in the combat challenges, but I end dying because I can't see where they are. Any suggestions on where I can expect them to be and how to stop them or the camera from beating me?

They are always near the gunbox. Try to figure out where these gun-boxes are for each map and when you hear the siren go off, dart over to the gun boxes to know their guns off.

Alternatively you might turn on detective vision as it will always highlight the opponents with fire arms red. The downside of this is that fighting with that vision might be confusing at times but it's worth a try.
