![]() Roadmap: Overview: -Estimated trophy difficulty: xx/10 (Not enough votes. Personal estimate=2/10) -Offline (breakdown):12 (7 , 4 , 1 )-Approximate amount of time to 100%: 2-4 hours. -Minimum number of playthroughs needed: 1 -Number of missable trophies: 5. "A Plausible Explanation", "Fuelmaster", "Fate in flux", "Hi Bob!", "Deja Marty". -Glitched trophies: None so far. -Does difficulty affect trophies? No difficulty options. -Do cheat codes disable trophies? None available. Introduction: Great Scott! Our favorite time traveling partners from the mid 80's return to us for more temporal shenanigans, but this time, in the form of a video game! This series of games made by the creators of "Sam and Max" games, Telltale Games, will come to us in 5 different episodes released a month apart from each other. This guide/walkthrough covers the first episode of them. The first thing I would like to mention is that I would highly suggest not using a walkthrough to play for the first time through, as it is much more fun to play through the game and figure things out on your own. If you are mindful of what the missable trophies are and when and how to get them, you can easily play through this game and get 100% in one playthrough without following a walkthrough. However, I realize that there are some of you who want to get through it as fast as possible, or simply be absolutely sure they don't miss anything, so for these people a walkthrough is provided under "A Bicycle Built For Two". If you plan on playing this without the walkthrough, take note of the missable trophies to make sure you can 100% this game in one fell swoop. During the opening scene of the game, make sure to unlock "Deja Marty". Also, be sure that before you leaving Edna Strickland's apartment, you unlock "Fate in flux", because if you exit the apartment before getting this trophy, a second game will need to be started. As soon as you travel back in time, quickly pick up "Hi Bob!" and "A Plausible Explanation". While in Emmett's basement you need to unlock "Fuelmaster", otherwise another full playthrough will be required. As long as you take note of these trophies, you can play without the walkthrough and still get 100%, but the walkthrough is there in case it is need. A few notes about how the walkthrough is set up:
Step 1: Play through the game. In this step you should play through the game (using the walkthrough or not). This will earn you all of the story related trophies, which is also the majority of the trophies in the whole game. Whether you decide to use the walkthrough or not, make sure to watch out for "A Plausible Explanation", "Fuelmaster", "Fate in flux", "Hi Bob!", and "Deja Marty", since they are missable. See them in the trophy guide to find out when, where, and how to unlock them. If you aren't using the walkthrough and you get stuck, pressing will open up a hint menu, then you can press to reveal more hints. This has no effect on trophies, so feel free to abuse the hints as much as you would like. If you watched out for and achieved all of the missable trophies, then once you finish this step you should have 100% of the trophies. If you missed something, now we move on to step 2.Step 2 (Optional): Clean up playthrough. If you happened to miss a trophy here or there, now is the time to start a new game and track it down. Upon completing this step, you will now have 100% of the trophies. Last edited by tuffmuff; 02-19-2011 at 06:16 PM. Reason: editorial sweep |

Trophy Guide: Doc's LegacyStory related trophy, it should unlock just before the DeLorean appears outside of Doc's house. See "A Bicycle Built For Two" for the game walkthrough. Hello, Young FriendStory related trophy. It should unlock after convincing the young Emmett Brown into making a full functioning Rocket Drill. See the trophy walkthrough in "A Bicycle Built For Two". A Plausible ExplanationOnce you go back in time and speak to Doc in the jail cell for the first time, you have the ability to talk to him about various different subjects. To learn about the new DeLorean, ask him the questions in this order: "Where've you been?" "How's the family?" "Where'd the DeLorean come from?" This can be gotten at your leisure BEFORE completing the rocket drill. See the trophy walkthrough in "A Bicycle Built For Two". FuelmasterAfter finishing all of the tasks required to begin crafting the Rocket Drill, Emmett will ask you to mix the rocket fuel while he argues with his father as a distraction. Pay attention to Doc's cues as he is yelling at his father to tell you what to do. The words will have extra emphasis on them, young Emmett will say them louder, and they will also appear all in capital letters if subtitles are enabled. There are 4 different sections to the sequence, Emmett will appear downstairs and will inform you when you have reached 25%, 50%, and 75% of the concoction. The commands get faster and faster as you progress. Unfortunately, the order of devices used is random each time so I cannot write you a step by step for this, just pay attention and react quickly. The meter will be shown and it will ding every time you get one cue correct. Beware, about half way through Emmett's father will begin to yell similar words which will also appear in the subtitles, so you need to be extra careful that you only listen to Emmett's commands. If you mess up, you will know because Emmett will stop arguing with his father and come down to speak to you and tell you to listen for his cues. Should this happen to you, you can press the button and exit to the XMB and restart the game. Now you can load, which will start you back at the beginning from the mixing sequence and you may try again. Alternatively, as DarkSeraphim666 so graciously pointed out, you can simply press and load from there. The cues will follow the lines of: Stoke Fire: -Fire -Burning -Hot -Flame -Bellowing Sprinkle Bacteria Food: -Eating -Food -Microorganism -Bacteria -Shake -Fed -Scatter Release Gaseous Pressure: -Release Valve -Pressuring/Pressure -Bladders -Release -Bags of Gas -Vent Turn Electrical Crank: -Spins -Crank -Current -Turn -Shock -Generated -Spark -Lightning -Move -Rotation Fate in fluxWhen inside Edna Strickland's house in the present, examine the pictures on the wall until you see a picture of Marshall Strickland. You will need to examine the pictures between 1-3 times for this picture to show up. Once you see this picture, Edna will comment on it and you will receive the trophy. See the trophy walkthrough in "A Bicycle Built For Two". Hi Bob!Once you have traveled into the past you will be able to walk around the 1930's version of Hill Valley. As soon as you gain control of Marty you can walk over to the Law Firm and read the sign above the door. This will unlock the trophy. This must be done before attempting to free Doc from jail. See the trophy walkthrough in "A Bicycle Built For Two". Deja MartyDuring the opening scene of the game you will reenact the time travel experiment from the first Back To The Future movie. In order to get this trophy you must correctly repeat the dialog from the movie. If you have seen the movie this shouldn't be a problem, but nevertheless, the correct choices are: -"Disintegrated Einstein" -"Built a time machine out of a DeLorean?" See the trophy walkthrough in "A Bicycle Built For Two". Back in TimeThis trophy is story related. It should unlock after travelling back to the 1930s. See the trophy walkthrough in "A Bicycle Built For Two". Grandpa Got ServedThis trophy is story related, and will unlock after delivering the subpoena to your grandfather. See the trophy walkthrough in "A Bicycle Built For Two". Junior Bootlegger BadgeThis trophy is story related and will unlock after getting young Edna Strickland to deliver the disguised alcohol to Emmett's house. See the trophy walkthrough in "A Bicycle Built For Two". Jailbreak! This trophy is story related. It will unlock after attempting to use the rocket drill on the wall of the police station. See the trophy walkthrough in "A Bicycle Built For Two". Last edited by T_l_M_B_0; 02-18-2011 at 10:11 PM. |

in case u wanna update this and help some people out from wasting a few minutes restarting the entire game from the XMB i have an easier way for redoing fuelmaster.
u can just hit the select button if u mess up and reload ur autosave from there. the autosave literally restarts you the second u begin following cues. just easier then quitting out to the XMB imo. ur welcome in advance : D |
