Where can I find some basic instructions?

I just downloaded this since it's only $5 on PSN this week and even though the basics behind this game are pretty simple there are a few questions I have that I cannot find the answers for anywhere. Like why does my light beam sometimes seem to have a infinite length and other times it has a finite length? What causes the light beam to keep tight at times while other times it fans out so much it's impossible to tell where it is? Why does the light beam behave differently when passing through the same bubble type but in different areas? What I mean by the last question is that I just got a new bubble that at first seems to just grab a hold of the light beam and pull it inward towards the center, I can then grab the light temporarily and carry it away, but that same bubble when placed slightly further away will now cause the light beam to bend upward instead without the touching the center or the ability to grab it.
