What is your favorite Assassin's Creed game?

It is really hard to say which I like best out of II and Brotherhood.

I ended up on Brotherhood, though. Not that II isn't a great game, but I think the SP and the addition of MP in Brotherhood tips the scale. (Allthough some of the MP trophies were a pita.)

I didn't play AC 1 until I had finished the three later games, so naturally it comes out as repetative, bad graphics, bad controls etc., and Revelations ruled itself out by introducing the Desmond sequences and the tower defence bit.

+ on Revelations for cutting AEOTM-trophies and their likes.

AC II was by far the best for me. The story was great and the locations were memorable. AC Brotherhood and Revelations just felt like expansion packs compared to AC II.

Assassin's Creed II by far. i found that this had the best story out of all of the games. they had a much better time focusing on the campaign without a MP to deal with.

I'm getting ACR soon, so I'll vote once I've beaten that. But so far, I'm going to have to say ACII is better (note, I didn't say the best. It's not the best, it's just better... If that makes sense...)

I voted Brotherhood for few reasons:

I'm super intimate with the game after finishing my world record speed run 2:51:00 (Which I'm intending to improve. Go watch it Youtube)

It's the first to include kill-streaks.

Story is great and there is so much to do beside the main campaign. If you play just that, you lose 50 % of the game

Multiplayer was fun 'till the DLC 3 ruined it.

The game is just... SUPER WELL DONE!!!!

AC II, the story was about revenge, after that it was more unclear why he was chasing people Revelations was to much science fiction...

i liked them all, but AC II is the best.

Brotherhood for me. I just felt that it expanded so much on ACII what with the introduction of streaks, other assassins, more side missions etc. I just loved training up my assassins to the Master level and fighting alongside them in tough battles.

ACII, absolutely. But that's not to say I don't really love the sequels. Hell I think I'm in the minority with how much I loved the first one as well (yeah it had many flaws, but the potential was all there and ACII is the proof in the pudding). The story is awesome in ACII, which is why it wins my vote, but I love the improvements in gameplay with the assassins and bombs with the sequels.

While I liked the Assassin's Creed II single player campaign better (and I especially loved Venice), I still voted AC: Brotherhood, because the added multiplayer was so addictive I played the game for a year, right up until AC: Revelations was released. No other game has ever hooked me like that.
