I can confirm that Best Buy is also doing it. I walked into the one I work at to get Mass Effect 3 today and saw the shipper set up with all the steelbooks. Preordered right then and there.

Ebgames.ca does offer the steelbook. That's where I pre ordered mine

I got the steelbook too, it's a very slick case.

I was there picking up my Mass Effect 3 (N7 Coll. Ed.) and got talked into the AC3 preorder with this case. (1st time I've ever gotten anything for a preorder besides a receipt)

Got home and noticed the AC3 steelbook case is the exact size as the N7 Case. They're both too big to fit neatly in a collection but side by side they look nice. Now to fill the AC3 Case...

I figured Gamestop usually gets the best Preorder stuff anyways and I can upgrade to the collector's edition if I want to later.

Any word on how limited the case is?

From what I've seen in the reveal trailer, it just says that as long as you Preorder ACIII, you will recieve the steelbook case. Not sure if that's true or not, I might decide to go preorder in person at EB Games (the Canadian Gamestop) instead.

Not sure if stores have limited quantities or just one shipment of the steelbook cases. It'd be nice to think they'd get more in since it's still very early. It'd also be easy to imagine it's just a very limited time thing.

When I got mine, Best Buy had a shipper set up with approximately 20-25 cases.

Just received a shipping confirmation from EB games. So I will be getting the steelbook within the next week instead of in October which is kind of a relief.
