There are a ton of changes from the first game to the second, the most important of which is probably the much greater variety in missions. With your assassinations in the second one, it's no longer a simple eavesdrop, pickpocket, whatever chain to track down your target.
Also, in terms of the main characters, I think most people definitely prefer Ezio from the second to Altair from the first. Granted Altair was a badass, but Ezio is a badass with personality. Personally I liked the first game, but I've seen a ton of people that didn't really care for the first one get turned on to the series because of AC2.

I played just 4 or 5 inicial missions in AC1. Just boring, the missions were almost the same. The game was beautiful but boring as hell. I got AC2 from a friend and it's great. I'm very surprised by the game, it has a very good history, gameplay variety, different type of missions. Almost every mission in the history is about an assassination but this is the only similarity between them.
AC2 is just a great game there's a lot of improvement from the first one. Last edited by Gustavo_B; 07-23-2010 at 08:25 PM. |

will if you didnt really like AC1, chances are you wont like the double hidden blades, new combat system, hiring your own group to distract or kill, real Italian locations and landmarks, your best friend(dont want to spoil) and a really great plot and storyline that follows both AC sires and its own. But hay its if you dont like those things.............you should still get it
