I bought the DLC right when it was released and after playing it through I was so close to that 100% that I just had to do the tank mission. That was definitely a though job.

No, I don't bother. I'm around 84% sync, but I'm not very fond of AC's MP segments (to put it nice) and ignored them on Brotherhood and Revelations. So while I'm already missing 8 trophies for that (including the s), one more won't make a big difference. I got the DLC shortly after it's release, but for some reason I couldn't get back into the game, forgot important parts of the controls and lost interest quickly before achieving even a single DLC trophy. Lately I came back to it for the simple DLC trophies, and maybe sometime I'm going to get GPS, but 100% sync? No.

Basically I don't like the direction in which this franchise evolves, with each game after ACII being worse than its predecessor (IMHO), and I fear this will continue with ACIII. Unlike previous AC games I won't consider to get ACIII on day one, I suppose waiting for the first reviews will spare me a lot of disappointment...

Brotherhood and Revelations were really just spin-offs to make sure fans stayed with the story. AC3 has been in developement right after AC2 was released, and from all the information that has been released to the public, everything seems better than AC2. Not sure why you would ever think the most major game to be released in the series would ever turn out to be like the others.

OK, this is getting off topic, but...

I simply fear that some ideas and concepts of ACB and ACR that I don't appreciate may have found their way into ACIII, together with some new game mechanics, so that the result may be something that isn't my type of game anymore. Not much is known about ACIII yet, but either my mind will be blown or I will be repelled, that's the reason for me to not buying it blindly on day 1 like the previous games, at least until I have more information about its game play...

Wasn't worth the time for me. Would only bother with it if it was required for the platinum.

I got the DLC and just recently started concentrating on the platinum which is definitely achieveable now, i've only 1 more synce to do. I always wanted the 100% so i knew i would go for the Il Principe trophy sooner or later. One more trophy for the ACR 100% too which is Impress Warren Vidic. I also aim to have AC3 at 100% before the next game comes out!
I've loved the series!

I did, I earned it last summer as the final single-player challenge for the game. In all honesty, it wasn't that much of a challenge to get, and parts of it can be fun. Plus, there are multiple guides on websites and videos to watch for tips and tricks to get it. All that's left for me is the multiplayer.

I have the other way around, it is frickin' impossible!
I could use some help, if it weren't for the fact that this isn't an online trophy to accomplish... D:
