These are obvious sorts of questions so I did search - couldn't find the answers.
1) For the purist/heartless do only the £cut-scene" type morality decisions contribute towards this or do things like the killing/saving of civilians count as well? Reason I'm asking is because I've just done a play-through picking only negative decisions and didn't get the heartless trophy at the end. 2) For Hardcore, can you just start a new game using chapter select, or do you have to start on a new save? Thanks for any assistance. |

Only the parts where you choose between pressing
and count towards Purist/Heartless. I know this because my first playthru was positive only and I didn't save all the hostages. My 2nd playthru was negative only and I rescued all the hostages.Remember at the end:
Also, for hardcore, every chapter has to be finished on Contractor difficulty, regardless of what order you play them in. So you can either start a new save (all kills and everything count together in each of the save slots) or play thru the chapters randomly. I can also back this up by saying my friend got Hardcore after finishing Chapter 4 because he screwed up the settings on his previous playthru. |
