Burnout online is mental though, it's just driving extremely fast and hoping a car doesn't appear from nowhere.

Still it's a good idea for a game night, but id prefer burnout challenges over the races.

How about Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas 2? I was on a few days ago and the servers were packed so they won't be going down anytime soon .

Could be a boosting night, considering completing all the Bike and Car challenges are both trophies. Most people have the trophies already but still.

I'd vouch for BF1943 as well because a kind gent recently gave me a code for it (thanks Olly )

Other retro styled games that could be included are the likes of Uncharted 2 (although it's been visited a few times so it probably won't get picked), any of the older COD games, Alien vs Predator, Burnout Paradise and so on. Anything that would be chosen would have to be a big title though because it would have to compensate for what would be a generally smaller sign up list, what with some people trading/selling old games.

I have battlefield 1943, never played it though

So a game night would be good as it gives me an excuse to play it.

I got the 100% for this last Summer but still have it on my HDD and would love to have an excuse to play it properly again .

Agreed, it was one of our first events way back when! It was a great laugh online. I'm liking the retro idea as well so i'll speak to the others, at least we don't have to worry about online passes there! Can probably play in open rooms as well with the amount of people online now

Has Metal Gear Online been suggested? I'd like to do an event for that game her on PS3T before they close the servers in June.

Can we get a list of games in the first post that have been suggested already and a list of games that definitely cannot be done for game nights?

For a future Retro night we could pick some games that don't have any trophies e.g. R:FOM, as it would be nice to give them one last go before the servers go down .

I mentioned MGS 4 a while back but the servers are closing in June and it's a pain-in-the-neck to setup a match.
