Which is your favorite Tonelico?

There are a few posts in some of the various threads where people mention Quoga not being as good as the previous Tonelicos, while not being bad itself.

So I thought it would be interesting to see a poll on which of the three everyone likes best.

Feel free to say why a particular Tonelico is your favorite!

Defintely AT2, although AT1 was a very close contender AT2 took what was good in AT1 it had and run ahead with it along with some good ideas of its own.

AT3 has the benfits of strong supporting material and incresed technology, but the way its implemented left alot to be desired, and many of their inovations did not work for me at all. In the end AT3 is an extermely niche game for fans only.

I would have to go with the second game also. While I feel that the first game had the best story, the second game had the best battle system of the series, which made the game the most fun to play.

Agreed with stgermain and everyone else, hands down its gotta be the 2nd one.

I also felt the 2nd one was the best. In addition to whats been previously mentioned, I felt the Hymns in the 2nd were better than the others as well.

I liked Ar Tonelico Knell of Arc Ciel. Its the first one i played xD thats why..

Well then you really should pick up the 1st 2 games because they're also quite good.

Definitely II, despite the localization flaws, it's much more well done in terms of system mechanics at the very least. The battle system is definitely my favorite of the three, and the game generally doesn't make you feel bad for picking any one girl, which III definitely does, and I sort of does!

I loved all 3 but i had to pick AT2. I absolutely love the OST in the game.

I agree with Rarutos on the localization flaws and system mechanics. I played through the game 4 times in a row with them.....i might just still be playing it right now if it didn't have them there pesky flaws.
