Question about the roots

I didn´t understand this part,"Roots of evil are only available to burn during Episodes 3 (3), 4 (4), 7 (8) and 8 (18)."Do I have to burn throught my game or can I use chapter select to get them all after I finish the game?

You can burn them all afterwards. After completing the game I loaded up a chapter 8 select and when I checked my map everything was still burnt. You can also wait until chapter 8 and then just burn everything prior to heading to the endgame, as I believe any unburnt roots will still appear in the later chapters in which they're available.
