To me, this feels more like a PS3 game than a Wii game. Especially since I play with the Classic Controller Pro.
I started getting into it and love it. At times I feel like a caveman beating up on dinosaurs and monsters. I feel like a hunter gatherer by carving up animal parts, fishing, and collecting mushrooms and stuff. The gameplay can feel like Demon's Souls at times with you having to study the monster's movements and you having to master your weapon, roll out of danger, make note of your stamina level, and overall fighting style. Multiplayer seems like this free MMORPG since you don't have to pay for any monthly fees and since the Wii is free online just like the PS3. It's fun getting in a party of 4 and hunting a monster together. Anyone else play this and see this as one of the best games the Wii has to offer? Also in line with my Nintendo praise, Professor Layton and the Unwound Future is due September 12th. That's a favorite series of mine on the DS. |

Do you know if this will come on PS3, because Monster Hunter isn't a Nintendo game and the classic remote looks jus like a Playstation controller.

It was originally supposed to be a PS3 exclusive. Capcom went with the Wii because the Wii has a wider market and they wanted Monster Hunter to be as big in the US as it is in Japan.
This is a Wii only game. Unless they decide to port it to the PS3 or something. No one on this forums seems to be interested in Monster Hunter? Along with Zelda Twilight Princess and Resident Evil 4, I would dub this a PS3 killer. It's one of the few Wii games that forces my PS3 to take a back seat. |

was a Big fan of the series and since I broke my PSP was abit relieved I could put my Wii to use again, even though abit gutted about it not being on PS3.
I played the story and online alooooot. Got to a point where I mauled Alatereon about 130 times and had all the decent armors :/ so just got boring traded it in for the GOW HD remakes for PS3 |

Don't you mean MH Tri was set to be PS3 Exclusive before it was released then moved to Wii. However, if PS3 version was developed I doubt it would be released in US/UK. Japan is usually selfish
Like the MH MMORPG on PC
