according to the Square Enix NA Twitter "the official release date for Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance] in North America is July 31, 2012!"

It's about damn time we get a true release date. I originally heard that the N.A. Version was coming in December. I guess I can get this for my birthday.

not 3... 3D (Dream, Drop Distance), it comes BEFORE 3. It's for the 3DS
