Pokemon Black and White 2 have been announced theses are the first pokemon games to get direct sequels Pokemon Pearl/Diamond=Pokemon Platinum.

meh, i gave up on the pokemongames after soulsilver. collecting them over and over again is a real torment and every 3 years or so there's a hundred extra more of them.

Second: OHEMGEE! Yet another Pokemon game which will be exactly the same as every other one with two or three minor improvements! How many more Pokemon are they adding for this one? An additional 251 Pokemon? I canna wait!

wow they really are stretching this out. They always make a sequel to make more money, and these games are IMO really watered down.

Its sad really, but pokemon is one of many (mario, zelda, super smash bros.) that they are making quantity and not quality. This might be popular with kids and long time fans, but i still think its sad

I gave up on pokemon when i had to buy a new handheld to play the newest one (at the time)

i enjoyed the games, but redoing it all each game really got tiring. If they kept it as good as the first, they wouldnt have problems. But they didnt add more "pokemon help" moves that you use out of battle, nor did they make good pokemon (slowpoke turns into slowking, which can evolve again? WTF)

WHats really sad is that if i could, i would buy one of the two also. Just to have something to do with my small cousins when they visit. And i might enjoy it. i just hate when they stretch games to make more money. Its usually junk

I know people will be hating on this, but if pokémon would finally, FINALLY get a decent set of graphics, with better animations, and a slightly improved gameplay, then this might be good.

I like pokémon, even if it's meant for kids, it's a simple game, and it offers some fun times. Might be all the same, but rather all the same of a good game, then all the same of a shitty game.

Instant buy if they made it for the 3DS. Pretty big fail, but okay, i can see, many still have'nt jumped to the 3DS... But this game could've get the Pokemon fanatics over.

Exactly. A new Pokemon game, a REAL Pokemon game, could have sold some 3DS systems easy. But they're putting this on the DS instead... This leads me to believe that they're recycling a lot of content from Black and White and not to expect much new, because recycling all the game code is easier on the system it was originally developed for. Hence, a DS release rather than a 3DS release.

I have yet to play the Black/White games and am interested in Black 2/White 2, especially since they're part of the Black/White games. I'll wait to play them though until I play the first ones though. Personally, I'm still waiting on a remake of Pokemon Yellow which I'll probably never see :/
