Anyone else bought the Dresses and Weapons of Madness pack? - Page 2

I bought them this morning and I'm so glad I did, I love them! I decided to try to beat it on Nightmare difficulty level my first playthrough, and I had been stuck on the first level for 3 days. After buying the DLC though, I'm cruising through it no trouble at all!

honestly the dresses are a waste of time because simply beat the game on easy and collecting everything along to way to make sure all weapons are maxed then simply follow the steps for the 20 min nightmare difficulty and you are set,

there is absolutely no reason to waste money imo.

The Caterpillar outfit is the most helpful as far as the collectibles go. And for a $1.99 price, not bad at all. Fashion-wise, the free dresses you get after beating a chapter are beautiful

I bought the DCL for my second walkthough and it worth it. They help finding your missing items much more easily and I use the chess dress, speacial weapons and easy mode to beat the final boss without being hurt, I have beat it in less that one minute.

This is game isnt bad at all. I might just buy the DLC dress pack and see what happens. For $2, who cares. Good to know it helped some people out.

I sure did. I assumed that using the dresses would make some stuff easier. The Fleshmaiden dress was great for getting the Pulling his Strings trophy.
Going through nightmare mode with the dress that doubles the attack power coupled with the weapon upgrades is making it pretty easy.

Also, that cleaver; class.

They should have made some dress that could make some of the platforming easier though lol. Like that makes you jump higher or float without gradually going down. XD

Opinion; none of the dresses look as cool as the Steamdress though.

I bought the pack AFTER I got the platinum and all the trophies for the DLC. It was freaking awesome. I played through the game with each of the costumes. I was pretty satisfied. My favorite is the hattress costume.

I got the DLC for my first run on easy. Really speeds things up. Cutting at least 2 hours from total time to plat. For $2, that's great for me since I do have a backlog I'm trying to work on hehehe.
