Platinum Difficulty Rating

I give it a four. If you start off with nightmare then it might be hard, but if you play nightmare with new game+ it will be a lot easier with the dresses that have special effect and fully upgrade weapons.

Finally completed the game and got my nice shiny platinum.
I voted a 4 based on a few reasons.
With an awesome guide, all the collectibles can be found easily. You can also purchase the DLC on PSN to really help you on your nightmare round.
So all in all, a pretty satisfying platinum which is not too hard

4/10. Using chapter select saves you from having to do another run through, plus it can be used to pick up any missed collectibles. No bosses apart from at the end. Some collectibles are well hidden, making using a guide a good idea if you want to get it done in one playthrough.

5/10. Good game, but can be a little tedious at times. The chapters are seriously too long, and there are way too many collectibles. Not to mention that Neighslayer was a seriously annoying trophy. Not too hard, but it definitely has it's challenges.

Quite long game, with a lot of things to be collected.

Voted 3. With a guide collecables are easy. Only had trouble with Neighslayer trophy.

The game is not that hard, gave it a 4, the pig snouts can be a pain if u miss one but nothing that complicated.

Pretty straightforward trophies. Completed the game on normal first. Pretty easy. You pretty much learn how to effectively defeat every enemy straight away. Not to mention, most go down in 1-2 hit if you upgrade your weapons. (Even on nightmare difficulty.)

Found most collectibles without guide. They aren't hidden that well.. You can always use chapter select to get the last few. You do need to remember which snouts you got though, luckily, by using visual aid, I remembered which ones I collected.

I didn't feel like playing this game again, so I used the nightmare difficulty exploit. Even if you choose to do nightmare, with the dresses you unlock and all your upgraded weapons in new game plus, it's very easy.

I would rate it a 2/10 if it wasn't for the terrible jumps and camera. Combine those two and prepare to get annoyed..

Just got the platinum and voted 5. Admittedly i did use the nightmare cheat but this game is way too repetitive to play through twice. Same with the collectibles, i started off getting them legit as i don't like using guides on my first run through but missed a few and the thought of replaying these long dull levels made me give in.

I would have voted 4 but i found the dollmaker without damage kinda tricky. It's a shame the gameplay (both combat and platforming) got so samey because I enjoyed the story and thought the style and presentation was great but ultimately i was bored before the halfway mark. Definately glad i rented rather than purchased this one.
