Game Won't Let me Camp

as the sun sets... the game prompts me "Camp In This Area?" I select yes and the game kicks into the loading screen... with the walking animal in the corner... however the game does not load... it's not a system freeze as im able to "PS" to my XMB and quit the game... I've deleted the game data... and reinstalled it a handful of times... so far i've been able to avoid having to camp but nearing the end of the game "Fountain in the morning" mission requires you to camp and be there first thing... any help would be appriciated

It sounds like you may have a bad disc, try exchanging it for another one and try again . You could also have a bad save so try backing up your save to a USB drive (it won't fit on the cloud as it's too big) and starting a new game.

Well... i rented this game from Gameacces.ca and i waited for months for it... (assuming they have one or 2 copies) i took the disc to a a store with a buffer ill see if it works... i reinstalled game data, started new game and played til camping was available....no help there

In that case you must have a duff disk but try this before getting a new copy: Fixing Issues + Maintenance + Sending your PS3 to Sony
