Are co-op and competitive counted separately?

On the Veteran Pilot trophy, for playing 50 hours online, does it count co-op and competitive time separately, or add them together?

For example, if I play co-op for 25 hours, and deathmatch for 25 hours, will I have the trophy? Or does it have to be 50 hours on either one?

It counts them together, but co-op gives more straight hours
