"Bomber Master" trophy glitched?

You can do it on any difficulty (So do it in free mission with the lowest setting), you have to do it on the mission where you control the bomber and are dropping what feels like a million bombs onto the ICBM base.

How I got it though... is another question.

The trophy popped up after I beat the base which prompts the MIG's to come.

This suggests that it's logging your kills at the very least upto checkpoints.

I've played through the stage twice in full, this time was my third attempt before I hit that checkpoint.

However I had failed to hit some ICBM's a few times which prompts a restart from the entire bombing run.

The only advice I can offer is to do the entire mission in free mission mode with the difficulty set to it's lowest setting, the number of enemies does not decrease with difficulty.

As for how many 'perfect' runs it will take you... urm... honestly? I have no idea.

But just keep replaying this stage and it will pop up.

Played through the complete mission once in campaign and three times thus far on free mission. No trophy yet :-/

Did you have a skill set applied at the time? Or a blank one?

I did it with skills activated! Took 3 playthroughs of the bombing level.

I got it part way through my fourth run through as well. Just over 3900 total ground kills and just over 1900 ASM kills in my stats after the trophy popped. Don't know if it could be tied to either of those numbers.

Yeah it just took a bit of practice but finally got it. The 3rd ASM was the hardest, just have to make sure you're lining up the vehicle paths properly. If it hasn't popped by the time the MiGs come then you might as well restart the mission if you're purely after this trophy.

Thats not, mine popped during the unguided bomb part. It can't be for total in a single mission based on that, gotta be cumulative

yeah it has to be cumulative, it seems that only once people do this 3-4 times that the trophy pops

also you can quit the mission and restart it without losing any kills, I looked at my kill count before doing the bombing part and quitting out and even after quitting it had recorded the kills

I'm now on my 15th run through this mission... still no trophy. Any other suggestions?

Are you beating the mission? Or restarting from a checkpoint/death?

Played the mission once on my story playthrough and twice on mission select. During my 2nd mission select playthrough the trophy popped just before the MIG's arrive.

What is important is that by my 2nd free mission playthrough I've became more effective in bombing & I'm 100% sure I've managed do destroy ALL of the targets during this first vawes of raids (before MIG's arrival)

Seeing as some of the players have problems with this trophy, having to play the mission multiple times & some are getting it straight away, I think it's all about a perfect bombing run (destroying all targets)

On the second thought I've also restarted a couple of times on my 1st mission select playthrough so I guess the perfect bombing run theory is worth thr check, even if it's not right, It will still get you closer to obtaining the trophy.
