This is true. Some of them are not that difficult though and are just time consuming. For instance, in Museum, Bombing the Dinosaur. Downtown is definitely one of the hardest set of trophies in the game.
There are still several you can get without too much difficulty even there though.
For instance, download fat princess (FREE) and get the Glass Lass trophy.
