This trophy is refusing to unlock for me as well. I've done it 3 times and nothing.
I'm doing like the walkthrough is saying too. I'll keep trying.
EDIT: Finally got it! I just wasn't waiting long enough. It popped just before dropping the dude off at the bus stop. Sorry, I'm bad with names.
