Default A little observation of mine of KTFO

Hi guys. This is my first ever thread so please excuse me if any errors are detected or anything like that.

My UFC 2010 KTFO Trophy Theory/Observation

After watching the above video, I compared that method to the method I hade gotten my KTFO trophy. (I had it long ago but I couldn't post my theory because i had never signed onto this site). Anyways, i noticed a lot of things between the above video and the way I did it in which IMO have to done to obtain the KTFO Trophy. In short what I did was GSP VS Koscheck, 3 Rounds, Experienced Difficulty. Here is my theory-

1)The opponent has to be attended by the doctors whilst the result/decision of the match is being announced at the endA no-brainer this. Countless threads saying the opponent must be attended to by doctors to obtain the trophy and it's true, this must happen at the end of the match

2)Stuff all takedowns
Believe it or not, a flash KO technically occurs in a toe 2 toe battle with one fighter getting caught clean without ever knowing they were hit. You can't attempt a takedown to take the fight to the ground otherwise your chances of getting the trophy are lowered (you'll end up dealing damage on the ground instead of standing up). If you watch the video, Leben stuffs ALL 3 of Silva's takedowns and during my match, Koscheck attempted a takedown which i ended up stuffing and that was the only ever attempt of one in the fight. So try not to attempt a takedown, keep the fight standing.

3) Don't bob and weave
Another surprise one. You might think bobbing and weaving creates a window for counter punching your opponent into a flash KO but the game fails to recognise that. Instead, what i did was either simply block Koschecks punches or take them (not wise to take them :P). The video above supports my blocking method as Silva doesn't bob and weave to counter-punch into a KO win; he blocks.

4) Alternate strikes
Switch up your striking throughout the fight. If you keep targeting the head or body TOO much, your opponent will get rocked and there goes your KTFO Trophy out of the window. Hit the body the follow up with 2-3 shots the head and vice versa.

5) Don't always trust the Beginner Difficulty
Now, some people might have got the trophy on Bignner, but IMO i wouldn't recommend playing on this because the CPU tends to become a human punching bag. Since he'll be virtually throwing no strikes at all, you won't have a chance to counter back so you'll basically end up rocking him. I had mine on Experienced and Koscheck was throwing more strikes at me than the amount of eggs Nick Griffin got pelted with.

6) Hit back with power shots
Another no-brainer basically since a jab isn't flash KO anyone (well it can really, in reality, besides the point lol). The video above finishes with Silva landing a sweet hook to Leben to drop him; i ended my match with a killer right hand spinning back fist to Koschecks jaw, with him dropping like a bag of dog s***. However, pepper you opponent with the occasional jabs throught the match to slightly weaken his face in order to set up towards the big finish.

7) Unlocks after a certain period/Luck
In essence, the Trophy is all luck however, i do think these pointers help increase your chances in getting it quicker rather than waiting in the wings of the time hoping it pops up. I might be wrong but there is a little probability that the Trophy will only unlock after you've played the game for a number of hours - i got mine after playing the game for 22 hrs and 22 mins. Key thing though - be patient.

So, there you go,my first ever thread. Hope you enjoyed it and I greatly hope that this little observation of mine can assist those who don't have the Trophy in getting it sooner rather than later. PM me if y'all need any extra assistance. I'll try to update the method ASAP if I find another variable affecting the Trophy.
Thanks and have a nice day!
